Lichen Planus (LP) is an inflammatory disease that can affect the skin and mucosal surfaces.

Symptoms

LP can cause significant symptoms that often affect patient’s quality of life.

Itching is the most common symptom of skin lesions.
Pain is the most common symptom of mucosal lesions.
Rarely, long-standing lesions of LP can develop Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
