Get to Know Kirsten M. Turchan

How would you describe your approach to patient care?

Education and a team approach. Parents need the right tools and information to give their children the best care and I also learn from them. It is a relationship that requires listening and communicating from all parties. I also believe in collaborative care. Pediatricians need to be informed as well as other specialists caring for the child.

What inspires you about your work?

The children are my inspiration and passion. Children are a gift and I am honored and humbled every day by the people who graciously allow me the privilege of caring for them.

What aspect of your work are you the most passionate about?

Helping children feel better and live healthy lives.
